This is my first thread and I thought I'd make it interesting with some nice exchange of opinions.
I was wondering if anyone here can confirm the value of these soundtracks. VGA posted super nitendo soundtracks that sold a couple of days ago on ebay,http://www.videogameauctions.com/ninten … cks-recap/. I want to know if the donkey kong country 2 soundtrack really worth that much, and the secret of evermore? The guy also says that another donkey kong 2 soundtrack sold for $425. Are these really worth that much? What are your thoughts?

Yes those are all pretty accurate prices. 425$ is just a result of a dkc not being seen on eBay in a while. 250$ ish is the normal rate for it.

Those were all US releases, the superior Japanese versions fetch much more still.

Overrated and overpriced. You'll never see a bargain price for most SNES soundtracks, especially to first party Nintendo games.

Wow didn't know about that.Well, I tried searching for the Secret of Evermore soundtrack on Yahoo Japan and quickly released that SOE was only released in North America, so nothing there. But the Donkey Kong Country 2 soundtrack has a Japanese version? I guess I never searched for it since I never cared. But I was wondering if anyone listened to it, is it worth even $200?
I do have to agree, traditionally the Japanese video game soundtracks are much more superior. Take for example the Code Veronica soundtrack. Compare the Japanese version to the US version and you'll release that somethings wrong. I still can't get my hands on the JP version!
