There are some doujin albums I know I want for sure. They are....
Crow's Claw:
Crossfire Barrage PAEG-0008
Dangerous Mezashi Cat:
Memento Mori DMCD-0006
For those two, I'm just hoping that champ_des_pins lists them, as he tends to offer a lot by those two groups.
There are some others that I'm not so sure about. I'd need to hear samples first:
Takumi Inohaya:
Twilight Symphony ANCD-0002
RECONQUISTA ANCD-0003
Setsugekka FRCD-0002
TRINITY -Orchestra Side- N/A
TRINITY -Metal Side- N/A
LUNA:
Rock Beat LGCD0001
El cuento de un trovador LGCD0004
Rock Beat 2 LGCD0005
We Love 8 bit Lunatic Gate Doujin Soundtrack CD LGCD0006
Trace LGCD0007
Battle Syndrome 2 Catastrophe Doujin Soundtrack CD LGCD0008
Time to Maze LGCD0009
And there are some S.S.H. albums I'm looking for:
S.S.H. albums:
CROWZFEST CZFCD-001
Toshinori Hiramatsu & Fellows SWORD OF JUSTICE SJCD-0708
eXceed 3rd -JADE PENETRATE- ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK TMP-0701
eXceed 2nd -VAMPIRE REX- ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK N/A

I wouldn't worry about missing the LUNA ones, they aren't that hot...
"Rock Beat" is certainly underwhelming and amateurish compared to Dangerous Mezashi Cat's "Megalomania" (pretty much the top of the Doujin Rockman heap).
And the samples for 「We Love 8bit」 are pretty basic & cheap techno... Sure doesn't seem worth the time.

Thanks, that helps. I think $2 or less would be a good price for those LUNA albums, but they are going for $20 or more.

I've moved my want list to vgmdb.net, as well as started to fill in what I have in lossless. I also started to rate albums.

Around 800 were ripped by myself, while the rest were acquired via trades or through pecuniary motivation. Not everything is reported, as I'm going to miss things. Also, Angela took all the ones I didn't want. Some real stinkers were in that batch, possibly including Salamander Remixes (atrocious beyond imagination). If I had actually kept every vgm album I've ever received, as well as reported the mp3 albums, my list would be close to 1,700 albums.
That list of mine is ridiculous. Only 500 or so are actually on my computer (the remainder are in binders). And I regularly listen to far fewer than that. The advantage of acquiring so many without any regard to what one is acquiring is that the chances of finding really good ones are greatly increased. I remember trading with people and just saying, "Give me anything I don't have." That's really the type of approach that one needs to take with game music. I've been surprised so many times that the names, the companies, the composers, etc. - all that stuff - what does it mean? Something you've never heard of has the potential to be more interesting than the stuff you are very familiar with, which implies that familiarity is not an important factor in the acquisition of game music. I figured that out very quickly, when I was exposed to Falcom music.

Oh wow. How my collection pales in the sight of yours.

I wish I had learned about certain things sooner. I just got into Gradius and Ys and now hunting down Gaiden and Falcom tunes.
I should probably follow suit and put up a want list of my own.....

Trading was different back when I first started. It wasn't yet affordable for the average person to upload full albums to the 'net, so lots of us were trading physical copies. CD-R copies. I wouldn't do that now, because of DVD-Rs, flash drives, ape and flac. I don't think that DVD burners were even on the market yet and flash drives were scarcely in megabyte territory, if they were out at all. It's like 100 years of advancement are compressed into every 5 years of subjective time. I'm talking about 8 or 9 years ago like it was decades ago.
10 years from now I'll probably be able to fit my entire collection on a thumbnail flash drive (or whatever replaces flash). In fact, I'd bet every album listed at vgmdb.net would fit on a little drive 10 years from now.
My point is that if you're starting to trade right now, then you've got it made. It's so easy. Because of vgmdb.net, you can actually find out what all these albums are and more easily determine if they're worth your time. I couldn't really do that 10 years ago. There were just lists of CDs and sometimes track lists. As an example, I knew there was a Double Dragon II album within 10 minutes of initially finding this site (there was a primitive database here). But what was on it? It took me several years to finally be able to listen to it. The really popular stuff was covered very well here, with the reviews. That's how I found out about the Konami Battle albums and Falcom, as well as Final Fantasy. I had never played a Final Fantasy game prior to 1999, so the music from that series was completely unknown to me.
