Since I went to the trouble to rip the hidden track from the pregap of the third disc of the SaGa Frontier Original Soundtrack, I figured I'd post a link to it to save others the legwork:
Theme of Coon (Riki):
http://www.sendspace.com/file/3u7czd
I encoded it at 320kbps so if need be you can re-encode it match what you ripped the rest of the soundtrack at.
This was taken from the reprint so it is confirmed to be on both prints.
More information can be found in this thread: http://altpop.com/stc/forums/viewtopic.php?id=2743
Now if only the theme for the Capt. Hamiltion's Victoria was on there somewhere!

So this track is actually at the very beginning of Disc 3, right? I want to know so I can update VGMdb with this info.

When it comes to how the data is laid out on the disc, yes... the track is at the beginning of the disc - right before track 3-01, Mosperiburg where a player normally starts playing the disc. I just labeled it as 3-21 so it wouldn affect the numbering of the tracks that followed on my rip.
You may want to make note you need a program than can read the "pregap" of a CD if you want to rip it, such as CD-Rwin (thanks to the person in the previous thread for mentioning this.) You can also access the track by playing the disc and rewinding beyond the beginnning of "Mosperiburg," but once you convert it into a file like an mp3 that is no longer possible since that data is no longer there.

Can you please repost the instuctions on how to rip these types of "hidden" tracks?
I tried to rip the hidden track in FF7 Reuion Tracks but can't get it to work using CDRwin. I remember you have to enter the sectors in the pregap, but all I get are errors when I do that. ![]()

chocobo000,
I also get those errors. I was actually tring to get the "Theme of Coon" track myself, and was unable to. IIRC, it depends on how your CD/DVD drive is attached to your motherboard. When I was younger, I was able to rip a pre-gap track by doing some sort of weird direct line-in audio set up and then using the OLD "CD Player" program from Windows 95. If I could get those programs, that's how I'd do it again.
A lot of the newer CD/DVD drives just seem UNWILLING to pick up the tracks. So it may be best to put the CD in a CD Player, run some audio cords (line-in / line-out) to your computer, and hit the "record" button.

PS - Ashley, the standard as I know it is to list pre-gap tracks as track zero, so Theme of Coon could be 3-00. Thoughts?

I wasn't sure if marking the track as 0 of 20 would set it at the top of the tracklisting or the bottom. Sometimes programs can be weird with numbering which is why I did what I did. I changed it in iTunes to 0 out of 20 (my default player) and it's above 3-01 Mosperiburg so I think that is the better option like you said.
And chocobo000, I'll try and write out how I did it tomorrow. However, worse comes to worse I'll just get a dub of Reunion tracks from somewhere and post it after extracting it. I don't have a copy of the album though - there is too much on the full soundtrack that's not on it and I'm personally not to big on the orchestral tracks - and for obvious reasons can't use a rip in this case. But take heart! I acknowledge your plight and it's no less important than Theme of Coon!
Sry, that last part was over the top... I'm gonna hunt me some Coon.
Wait, I just remembered I hated Riki's game.
