There is a god afterall (Wild Arms Crossfire OST / Naruke returns!)

I liked WA5, but I don't think at any point, I was as into it as previous WA soundtracks or Naruke's work. I knew the game was coming, so the soundtrack announcement was just a matter of time, but it's good to see her at the helm for this one. Hopefully, it's JUST her this time. It'll be interesting since Crossfire isn't a remake (ala Code F) and I'm assuming she'll be the sole composer (compared to the 1 disc worth of material from WA4), so this will be her first full original score since WA3.

I'm SO fraggin' happy... I recently gave WA4 another listen outside the game and all it did was corrode my soul. It's not bad but how they tried to emulate Naruke's style throughout (to varing degrees of success) just ticked me off. The music of WA4 didn't feel very "honest" to me.

I haven't heard WA5 yet but I'll definately be looking forward to Crossfire more than I have other WA titles.

No such luck...

This isn't going to be released by King Records, rather Columbia Music Entertainment... that's interesting.

Still, I though it was weird how SE isn't the one re-releasing the Baroque OST.

There isn't, after all...

An online shop says the composers of Crossfire are Masato Koda,  Noriyasu Agematsu, Junpei Fujita, Hitoshi Fujima, Daisuke Kikuta  period

And GMR seems to have updated as well. Wonder what that shit is all about?

Oh well, I'm looking forward to it, but nowhere near as much now.

Man, I got all hyped for nothing... anyways Wild Arms 5 will be a big deciding factor if I contunie to stick with the series (gamewise) beyond that point since the next installment will be on the PSP.
