Heard about this.
Anyone know if this is going to be a straight reprint or one of those remastered deals like the Vagrant Story rerelease?

Wow. Square Enix is REALLY bringing back the DigiCube lineup. With Einhander out, what is still missing? By my count, they have yet to reissue:

Tobal 1 "Electric Indian" arrange

Ehrgeiz OST

Are there any I'm missing from that list? Have any of those *been* reprinted and I just missed the announcement?

How appreciably better was that remaster job? Any other discs get that treatment?
Aside: I still sorely wish that Dragon Warrior/Quest VIII orchestrated would get a much needed re-do.

Did DigiCube do the Parasite Eve OST? That one would be nice as well.

To be honest, I don't know. Since I'm not a huge fan on the VS soundtrack, I never bothered to check the remastered version, since sound quality wasn't the problem I had with it (although let's not get off topic with this line of discussion >_>). There was a thread about the rerelease here, and opinions were mixed on whether or not the remastering is better.

As far as I know, that's the only Square-Enix album that was remastered on the rerelease. The only other album I know offhand whose reprint was remastered is the Valkyrie Profile OST (Valkyrie Profile Original Soundtrack -Complete Reprint-).

Yes, Digicube puplished PE - I acquired a copy not to long ago. I think it definately warrants a reprint.

Was Einhander all that rare? I picked up a copy on a whim when I found it used for like 300 yen. Was that actually like a super deal or something?

Here's hoping they decided to reprint the CD because they are planning to port Einhander to the PSP. Or maybe an Einhander 2? 
With SQEX seemingly reviving the Parasite Eve series (starting with cell phone game The 3rd Birthday), I'm sure they will be reprint the PE CDs soon.

Considering that they don't show up on YJ much (or they haven't before the reprint, at least), and the last one that was there closed at about $80... yeah, it was kinda rare before the reprint. 300 JPY is a steal!
