Wow... the only other special edition iPod was the U2 one right? Pretty cool to see something game related (and not Final Fantasy) gets that honor of being a second.

Indeed, it is quite cool. I kinda want a small flash-based player anyway, but...ehhh....the price....arghhh.....

It's not a special edition

It's a normal iPod with Genso Suikoden themed case, headphones, and cover film, all of the latter being produced by Konami, not Apple. This sort of iPod promotion has been done before by other companies (I seem to remember a Star Wars one). Still tempting for die-hard GS fans, I suppose.

Hmm...

You sure the runes aren't being engraved on there? I could be wrong - I didn't read over it very carefully, and my J speak isn't the best. But I had assumed so, especially at that price.

If they are just stickers, then there is no way I'll get one. ;D

So they are, on the back side. I'd missed that. Still, I assume they're engraved on factory iPods by people at Konami, not manufactured that way by Apple.

Probably so, but...

...you know these will be worth the bucks in a few years. If Suikoden keychains [which were once free] are selling on eBay for $20-50 a pop, and Suikoden II sells for $100-200, I almost want to buy the iPods just for a little investment. Not to mention that they probably will have cool packaging. ;D Too bad the pre-orders end soon-ish.
