Dear Falcom nerds

I don't know if any of you care, but the latest Studio Ghibli film (July 2006) "Gedo Senki" is going to be scored by Tamiya Terashima (Not Hisaishi, ludicrous!) of early 1990s Falcom fame. It is being directed by Goro Miyazaki, Hayao's son.

Though Tamiya hasn't been around the game scene for quite some time, his site is here, with a decent discography:

Maybe that means he's composing another game score.

Oh well, he's been particularly busy this year with two or three concert series and a million albums. I wouldn't be suprised if 2006 was a slow year.

We shall see what next year brings, one can only hope.

As far as I know...

Most Studio Ghibli films directed by people other than Hayao Miyazaki don't have their music done by Joe Hisaishi. I could be wrong on that, but I don't think he scored stuff like Pom Poko and Grave of the Fireflies and My Neighbors the Yamadas, etc.

That's correct. Hisaishi has only made the music for the Ghibli films directed by Miyazaki.
