Family Computer Best Volume 2 CD - Etlanz label

By American Nightmare (May 01, 2004)

Has anyone heard this CD? It seems that over the past few years the "Etlanz" label has released several "Dojin" (fan-made) CD-Rs containing MIDI arrangements of game music. Evidently, however, Etlanz's latest release, the CD in question, is actually a "pressed" CD, not a CD-R. I'm thinking about buying, but I wanted to get some feedback first if any of you have heard anything about it. A track list would be nice, too, if available.

The link below leads to the Otaku page, which contains a good photo of the CD, and here is the URL for the Etlanz label's site (which is of course entirely in Japanese). I used Babelfish to translate but it wasn't very helpful: http://www.bb.din.or.jp/~excelsia

Re: Family Computer Best Volume 2 CD - Etlanz labe

I've heard 3 of his albums in mp3 format (Chrono Trigger & Seiken Densetsu Best Collection, Battle "ManiaX" 1st Year Anniversary CD and Final Fantasy 2nd Collection) and they're amazing. Especially his Snes remixes are great. Click on the link at the bottom for his discography, it lists all of his albums with several mp3 samples. I don't know about the Nes Dojins but his Snes Dojins are definitely worth getting. For translating the tracktitles, http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/ does a better job.
